Our commitment
At TalkWiz we believe everyone should be able to use the service easily and independently, including people with disabilities. We work to make the website and the application accessible under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013. Accessibility was built into the service from day one, and we keep checking and improving it.
The standard the site follows
The website and the application were made accessible according to Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.0, at level AA.
Accessibility features
- Full keyboard navigation, including a "skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
- A clear focus indicator on every element you can reach with the keyboard.
- Screen reader support: a hierarchical heading structure, labels for every form field, error messages that are read out automatically, and alternative text for images.
- Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for regular text. Information is never conveyed by color alone: a number appears next to every score.
- Data tables with headers, and an accessible table next to every chart.
- Click targets of at least 44 pixels.
- Respecting the operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
- Full support for both Hebrew (right to left) and English (left to right), with numbers, phone numbers and dates displayed correctly inside Hebrew text.
- Accessibility menu: a fixed button in the corner of the screen, or the keyboard shortcut Alt+A. In the menu you can enlarge text, raise contrast (high contrast, inverted colors, grayscale), increase line spacing, highlight links and headings, switch to a readable font, enlarge the mouse cursor and stop animations. The Esc key closes the menu. Settings are saved in the browser where they were chosen. The menu is a convenience tool only, and the site itself is built to be accessible without it.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts may not yet be fully accessible:
- Charts and reports on the dashboard are in development. Every chart will be shown with an accessible data table.
- Sign-in with Google happens on a Google page, whose accessibility is Google's responsibility.
- Files that users upload, such as Word or Excel files, are shown as uploaded, and we are not responsible for their accessibility.
- Automatic analysis outputs are written by artificial intelligence. Sometimes they include terms in another language or quotes with transcription errors from the original call.
- The inverted colors mode in the accessibility menu also changes the colors of images.
If you run into any difficulty, we'd be glad to hear and fix it.
